MEET OUR FOUNDER

The owner of Hound & The Half, Courtney Nelson lives in a small town with her husband and 2 hounds. Basil is a long haired Dachshund (the hound) and Dexter is a Dachshund/Yorkie mix (the half). Always on the hunt for the perfect dog products that would satisfy the wants and needs of the Dachshunds left her own wishes unfulfilled. She simply needed items that were beautiful and would fit better into a minimalist designer's lifestyle. Inspired by this quandary, she created Hound & The Half handmade leather products for your hound.
